Sometimes the hardest part of loving someone isn't a single crisis — it's noticing something has quietly shifted, and not knowing what to do with what you're seeing.

Join us for a discussion-based workshop exploring what it's like to notice a loved one developing a harder, more chaotic relationship with substances — as a friend, a partner, or a parent.

Through short stories and honest conversation, together we'll explore:

  • What it feels like to notice change in someone we care about, before anything is confirmed
  • The different ways this can show up — across relationships, across stages
  • The difference between stepping back and giving up, and what boundaries can look like without losing compassion
  • Practical ways to support someone, and to support yourself in that role

This is not about diagnosis or detection — it's about learning to notice with care, and figuring out how to stay connected even when there are no easy answers.

Join us if you're a harm reduction community member, a health or social service professional, someone who uses drugs, or someone who cares about someone who does.
