Multiple Pathways to Recovery: Harm Reduction & Treatment
Details
Harm reduction and treatment are often talked about as opposites — as if choosing one means rejecting the other. What if they're not opposites at all, but different roads that can lead to the same place?
Join us for a discussion-based workshop delving into what recovery means, and how it can hold many different paths, not just one.
Through short stories and honest conversation, together we'll explore:
- A working definition of recovery that centers health, self-direction, and potential — not any single method
- Harm reduction and treatment as pathways that can support the same person, at different points or side by side
- What it actually looks like when these two approaches work together, rather than in competition
As always, this is a space for learning with one another, not at one another — no expertise required, just curiosity and care.
Join us if you're a harm reduction community member, a health or social service professional, someone who uses drugs, or someone who cares about someone who does.
