Self-care gets sold to us a lot — a spa day, a retreat, something to buy or somewhere to escape to. Sometimes that's genuinely nice. But it's not always practical, available, or what actually helps.

What about practices that are already close to us, that help you feel present, grounded, or like yourself?

This workshop is a playful, low-pressure, try-it-yourself kind of session. We'll try a handful of quick, practical tools together, live. Each take 30 seconds to 2 minutes and work in real, everyday moments. Not every practice works for every person. Experimenting and discovering what works for you will be part of our journey.

Together, we'll explore:

  • What already helps you — practices you may not have thought of as "wellness tools"
  • A few simple practices for calming the nervous system, releasing built-up tension, and reorienting when you feel overwhelmed or checked out
  • The idea that regulation isn't about staying calm all the time — it's about having more ways to respond when things aren't calm

As always, this is a space for learning with one another. No expertise required, just curiosity and care.
