What we're about
Harmonessence was founded by Danny Vice; a professional singer, performer and vocal teacher with one idea, EVERYONE CAN SING.
Danny wanted to provide opportunities for people to sing in a fun, positive and inspiring space. From starting off with a handful of people, Harmonessence has grown to become a community of singers supporting each other in choirs, duos, trios, workshops and holidays. Danny’s original message is as clear today for every single person that joins us: EVERYONE CAN SING – and have fun doing it!
Danny has performed in bands since he was a child and is the male lead singer in the band South Coast Soul Revue (http://www.southcoastsoul.co.uk/) and The Frank Greene Band (http://www.frankgreeneband.com), selling out venues such as The Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham and award-winning Brighton & Hove music hot spot The Brunswick. He has also provided live backing vocals and session vocals for many artists and music producers throughout the UK.
Nicola Chambers is a professional singer and teacher. Nicola is an experienced teacher and performer and her passion for music is second to none. She is the lead singer in a Brighton based band and has been singing with Danny for over 17 years! Nicola’s expertise in teaching means she works at a speed that suits her students and will develop your repertoire with songs for your voice.
Debra sings in the shower, not in the choir. She holds Harmonessence together as co-owner, her role is to develop Harmonessence and keep the show on the road!
