How to Help Our Children: Working on Ourselves for Those We Care for Most

Details
We care deeply for our children and want them to be happy and fulfilled. How do we provide them with the tools they need to be successful human beings in the world?
Particularly when they are young our children look to us to understand the world. They experience our reactions and dispostion as their own. Because of this our work on ourselves in the face of the joys and difficultues of life is the most important thing we can provide as parents.
In this talk and discussion we will explore means of assisting our children and family members to be more fully themselves by working on ourselves.
Our practices are drawn from the Gurdjieff Work and include means for developing attention and powers of observation in life. We use themes for self-study, active sitting exercises like meditation, and a system of Movements to develop attention and integration.
There is no charge for the talk or any of our group meetings.
