The Rhythm Lounge specializes in bringing more social dance and music events to the Central Pennsylvania area. We create spaces where people can gather to learn, practice, and celebrate dance through a variety of activities such as weekly progressive classes, social dances, and special events.
Known for our various options to learn vernacular jazz era dances such as the Lindy Hop, we also connect people to art forms such as West Coast Swing, Collegiate Shag, Charleston, Solo Jazz, Blues, Balboa, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Tap, African Dance, and more.

We are located Inside Appalachian Brewery - 2nd floor “The Abbey Bar” - please use the entrance on the left of the building off of Cameron St.
(*the restaurant is closed for food and drinks and we operate as a DANCE HALL on Wednesdays)Parking is available in a huge lot behind the building as well as in a small side lot

Class Schedule for February, 2026 - choose from 1 to 2 classes a week on Wednesday evenings
(*please see any prerequisites below)- 6:30 - Bachata Level Open Level (adv beginner and above) - must have experience
- 6:30 - Beginner West Coast Swing Part 2 - 8 count ideas - please know basic 8 count footwork
- 7:30 - Salsa Level level Open Level (adv beginner & above) - must have experience
- 7:30 - West Coast Swing Level 1.5 ( adv beginner) - must have experience
- 7:30 - West Coast Swing Level 2 - must have experience- Guests Geoff and Anni this week
- 8:15 - 9:15 - Social Dance Parties -
