Join Us for the First-Ever Harrisville Disc Golf Meetup!
Hello Disc Golf Enthusiasts!
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our very own Disc Golf Meetup group right here in Harrisville, MI! A new disc golf course has been completed in downtown and we're excited to get playing! Whether you're a seasoned pro, a novice, or someone who's never picked up a disc before, this is your chance to discover the exciting world of disc golf and connect with fellow enthusiasts in our community. No membership, nor other fees required. We enjoy being outdoors and helping others to learn how to play this wonderful game.
What is Disc Golf?
Disc golf is a fantastic outdoor sport that combines the precision of golf with the fun and accessibility of frisbee. Players throw a disc at a target, typically a basket, using the fewest possible throws. It's a great way to enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, and challenge yourself, while having a blast and meeting new friends!
Why Join Our Meetup?
Fun for All Skill Levels and Ages: Whether you're just starting or looking to improve your game, our Meetup is the perfect place to learn and grow. Note: the course is not handicap friendly, as you'll trek through the woods and up and down un-mowed, grassy hills. Handicap parking spots are designated for you to enjoy the outdoors and join us for some fellowship, afterward!
Social Hilarity: Meet new people, make friends, and become part of a supportive and enthusiastic disc golf community, enjoying the hilarity of the moment as you chase around a plastic disc for an hour or so. F.U.N.
Health Benefits: Enjoy a low-impact workout that improves your fitness, coordination, and mental focus. Get off the couch!
Accessibility: Disc golf is affordable, with minimal equipment needed, and is suitable for all ages. No entrance, nor parking fees!
Affiliations: we are not affiliated with any corporations or private groups. The Harrisville Disc Golf group is open to all, regardless of where you're from or how far you've traveled. We are excited to share this new disc golf course with you and your friends/family!

Date: Saturday, June 8, 2024
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Harrisville Disc Golf Course, located north of Harrisville Harbor at the end of N. Lake St, next to the baseball diamonds.
Parking: There is plenty of parking, including handicap, as you enter the baseball park. The 1st tee will be on your left, as you first enter the parking lot.
Organizer: Michael Garner – look for my bright orange Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. We’ll gather there for a brief overview, break up into groups, and enjoy the wonderful new disc golf course in Harrisville.
