[ONLINE] Harry Potter Discussion: Hogwarts and the Houses

This week we'll be talking about Hogwarts and the four Houses! Everything from the quirky/insane Professors, the underuse of the Room of Requirement, to if Gryffindors truly were the heroes of the school. Thank you Ceren and Annabella for suggesting we have more Hogwarts' Houses topics!

As regulars will know, we use the theme simply as a starting point. We'll go off on any number of tangents (Potter-related or no), so it's a pretty informal discussion/chat. The times are also approximate: if you get here late, leave early, or want to stay for longer, it's all absolutely fine.

Some of the questions we might touch on:

• Does the House system make any sense? Should students be sorted?
• Are the Slytherin and Ravenclaw characteristics too close?
• Who was the worst professor at Hogwarts? The best?
• What class should Hogwarts have had?
• Was Albus Dumbledore a good Headmaster?
• Salazar Slytherin had the Chamber of Secrets. If the other Founders had 'secret' rooms, what would they have been?
• Was Hogwarts too dangerous?
• Why did Harry and others view Hogwarts as their home?
