[ONLINE] Harry Potter "Sorcerer's Stone" Book Club: Chs 13-14

This week we'll be reading "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone"! Unlike regular book clubs, we're (re)reading the HP novels a few chapters at a time.

We'll be discussing Ch. 13: 'Nicolas Flamel' and Ch. 14: 'Norbert the Norwegian Ridgeback'. Here's a quick summary: Snape referees an extremely short Quidditch match, the trio find out who Nicolas Flamel is, Snape acts very suspiciously, Hagrid gets a dragon (because of course he does), Charlie Weasley agrees to smuggle the dragon internationally (...I have so many questions about the Weasley family), and Harry and Hermione successfully get Norbert out But get caught out of curfew.

First-timers are always welcome and the reading is only meant to be a jump-off point for conversation. Don't worry if you're a newcomer, as each book club is independent of each other. It's also fine if you don't have time to read or finish the text; we're an informal bunch and just love to chat!
