[ONLINE] Harry Potter Discussion: Love and Amortentia

Join us at a Harry Potter Discussion Night celebrating Valentine's Day! This week we'll be chatting about all things love and romance in the series. Shipping (relation'ship') Wars were a thing in the early 2000s, and there's still a lot of strong feelings on the topic.

The 13th was also Luna Lovegood's birthday, so we might chat a bit about our favorite Ravenclaw.

We use the theme simply as a starting point. We'll go off on any number of tangents (Potter-related or no), so it's a pretty informal discussion/chat.

• What couple do you wish we'd gotten in the books? Do you like the canon pairings?

• In “Chamber of Secrets”, Lockhart tries to go all out on Valentine’s Day—no one was impressed. Do you wish there was more or less of a focus on holidays in the books?
