[ONLINE] Harry Potter "Chamber of Secrets" Book Club: Chs 9-10

This week we'll be reading "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"! Unlike regular book clubs, we're (re)reading the HP novels a few chapters at a time.

We'll be discussing Ch. 9: 'The Writing on the Wall' and Ch. 10: 'The Rogue Bludger'. Here's a quick summary: The trio stumble upon the scene of the crime, they learn about the Chamber of Secrets myth, Hermione decides to brew Polyjuice Potion, a rogue bludger chases Harry through the Quidditch match and breaks his arm, Lockhart then removes all the bones in his arm, we find out Dobby was behind the awry bludger, and Colin gets petrified.

First-timers are always welcome and the reading is only meant to be a jump-off point for conversation. Don't worry if you're a newcomer, as each book club is independent of each other. It's also fine if you don't have time to read or finish the text; we're an informal bunch and just love to chat!
