Hike Crescent Lake, Southington, CT

Crescent Lake Loop
This will be an all levels 4 mile loop around Crescent Lake in Southington. We will meet in the parking lot at Shuttle Meadow Rd for Crescent Lake and make our way up to sunset rock where a scenic view to the west rewards the hiker. We will visit Bradley mountain, then begin the return trails back.

We will then hike along the ridge, then back down the orange / blue trail toward the Bradley Goat Farm and finally back to the parking lot. There is a short distance on the road as we return to our cars. This hike does contain a rocky hill and several smaller ups and downs. The pace will be about 2 miles per hour.

Please access your ability to walk in the woods, climb a hill and keep up with the group. Due to the rocks and roots proper hiking footwear is strongly advised. Once we commit to the trail there is no "bail out" or returning on your own, so you must stay with the group. Please consider this as you sign up.

Please bring a pack with food, water, and temperature appropriate clothes. Closed to the event we will see if there are any weather impacts that need addressing.
