Hike Crescent Lake, Southington, CT

Crescent Lake Loop
This is a winter snow hike around the loop at Crescent Lake in Southington. We will meet in the parking lot at Shuttle Meadow Rd for Crescent Lake and make our way up to sunset rock where a scenic view to the west rewards the hiker.
The hike is about 3.5 miles. We might extend the hike for 3/4 of a mile and visit Bradley mountain, then begin the return trails back. It all depends on what we find for trail conditions.
Please have microspikes (required for all), a pack, warm footwear (you are walking in snow), snacks, water.

Please access your ability to walk in the woods, climb a hill and keep up with the group. Once we commit to the trail there is no "bail out" or returning on your own, so you must stay with the group. Please consider this as you sign up.
