Gay City State Park, Hebron CT

This event is all levels-beginners welcome. Right now the weather is a bit unsettled. We will see what happens over the next couple of days.

We are hiking out at Gay City State Park. The large loop is a pleasant walk through the woods. We have a couple of options as far as miles. Count on 3-ish. We can add to it a bit if folks are interested.

If the main gate is closed turn right and park on the upper level. If it's open pull through the gate and park in the lot on the right. There are usually bathrooms. Hopefully they are open.

Please bring a pack with water, snacks, and appropriate clothes. We will take breaks as needed. I will update folks to trail conditions closer to the event if we get any weather situations.

Dogs need to be on a leash and no children. Everyone attending needs to have their own Meetup profile. I do not allow guests on events.

• The group will not adjust speed or trail route to accommodate your schedule.
• If you cannot attend an event, please cancel 48 hours before. Late cancellations are rude and take away the option for others to join the event.
