Wadsworth Falls Hike, Middletown CT
Details
This is a beginner / all levels hike. There are plenty of ups to climb, but nothing technical. A slower pace than my usual weekend hikes.
This hike will be a roughly 4 miles at Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middletown. I like to hike the big loop out to the larger falls. We will head back to the little falls. There is a downhill section that should be fine for all to get down.
Please bring a pack to carry water, snacks, and camera. A happy attitude and the desire to meet new folks usually makes for a good day.
No kids and dogs need to be on a leash, not running through the group please.
Please check your route, download the GPS at home, know your travel time. Arrive early enough to start at the posted start time.
Items you must consider for every event:
- If you have an event after a hike, please do not sign up for the hike.
- End times are only an estimate.
- The group will not adjust speed or trail route to accommodate your schedule.
- If you cannot attend an event, please cancel 48 hours before. Late cancellations are rude and take away the option for others to join the event.
- Be a good hiking human
