Hike Seven Sisters, Hadley Mass

This is a winter where we will hike the Seven Sisters range from Mt. Holyoke to the visitors center. We will be running a car spot.

Seven Sisters is already a challenging hike in the other 3 seasons. Now we will have ice and snow.

Required to attend:
Experience on steeper longer trails.
Winter traction devices (microspikes-abolutely no Yak Trax)

The highest part of the range is 954 feet and the distance will be 7 ish miles. There are many rolling ups and downs. Please look at this trail and description before responding. Experience hiking long steeper terrain is required.

This is an early start. You are expected to be at the visitors center well before 9:00. We will see how many we have and organize cars to take folks to the hike start. When we finish we will shuttle drivers to their cars and head to lunch. It is a longer and more challenging hike.

Everyone will be put on a waitlist. If I do not know you, I will contact you directly to ask your experience.

Please make sure you bring a pack that includes lot of water (insulated bottles), food, camera, etc. . If you want to bring a dog, please contact me directly. No children.
Last time I was there, the visitor center was open with bathrooms. Let's hope that is the case.

Please check your route, download the GPS at home, know your travel time. Arrive early enough to start at the posted start time.

• If you have an event after a hike, please do not sign up for the hike.
• End times are only an estimate.
• The group will not adjust speed or trail route to accommodate your schedule.
• If you cannot attend an event, please cancel 48 hours before. Late cancellations are rude and take away the option for others to join the event.
• Be a good hiking human
