Trails Day Hike: Nassahegon Ramble

A 4 mile round trip on various parts of the Tunxis Trail in Burlington. Blue/White, Blue/Green and Blue/Yellow will get us back to our starting point. 500 ish feet of elevation gain and nothing particularly challenging.

Kids, ages 10 and up are welcome as are well-behaved parents.
Recommend sturdy footwear; it can get muddy and rocky in places. Bring water, bug spray, sunscreen and pack a rain jacket if it looks like rain. Thunderstorms and lightning are very very frightening and will cancel our hike.

Parking area is for Nassahegon Recreational Complex. It's south and east of Burlington Center (Rt 69 and Rt. 4). Use the pin in them map to locate.

I have a blue Kia Niro and will be there with my hatch up.
