Join us in person to celebrate the Winter Solstice -- and the New Year -- together this Sunday January 11, at 1:30 pm at the India Pavillion restaurant in Cambridge MA (more information about the restaurant below). At this traditional group lunch, we are delighted to have a talk by Ki Mahony, the Chaplaincy Associate-in-Training at the Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard & MIT; her topic will be ’New Year, New Humanism.'

Ki will be speaking on a humanist concept that she is researching and developing called pluralistic humanism. Together, Ki will ask us to explore questions together like ‘What is pluralistic humanism? Why do we need pluralistic humanism? And how will understandings of pluralistic humanism develop more humanistic community-building initiatives?’ Ki will take us on a revamped historical storytelling journey of humanism and reveals how reading human histories anew is beneficial to the vitality of humanism today.

Ki Mahony holds Honors degrees in Religions & Cultures and Political Science from Concordia University in Montréal. She is a graduate from Harvard Divinity School and also completed a Certificate in Religion and Public Life specializing in Arts & Popular Culture. At Harvard & MIT, Ki co-facilitates the Humanist Student Fellowship, plans and organizes campus events, and supports the wider humanist student and alumni community.
