Youyou Cong: The Fun of Functional Programming (External Event)

I would like to invite you to the following talk that will take place at the OST campus in Rapperswil as part of its International Week.

Title: The Fun of Functional Programming

Speaker: Prof. Dr. Youyou Cong from Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan

Abstract:
Functional programming is known for its mathematical elegance, and it has been a driving force in my research on programming languages. In this lecture, I share several projects I have worked on over the past decade, which include applications of functional programming concepts to natural language and music, as well as an approach to teaching functional programming that leverages large language models. Through these projects, I hope to convey the fun of functional programming and programming language research.

The room will be published in the near future at this link.
