Introduction to Microsoft Foundry

Renyo will introduce Microsoft Foundry through a real‑world workflow example that shows how Foundry intelligently routes conversations. In his demo, a chat begins by prompting the user to choose a subject—Math, Chemistry, or Portuguese—and Foundry interprets that choice to hand the conversation off to the correct specialist agent. If the input doesn’t match any domain, the system gracefully falls back, asks again, and keeps the user on track. Once the right expert is engaged, the workflow concludes. It’s a clean, practical illustration of how Foundry handles triggering, prompting, interpreting, routing, fallback, and closure to deliver structured, reliable conversational experiences.
