Tynemouth Litter Picking

We will be meeting at The View, Tynemouth, which is actually closer to Cullercoats metro station, at 4PM on Sunday 22nd of August, late comers are welcome too! Bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, water and GLOVES (Thick gardening gloves recommended)! Litter picking grabbers are optional, but recommended for people who struggle to bend down repeatedly. I will have some bags for collecting the litter, but if you bring your own, that would be greatly appreciated! We will then proceed to walk to the sea front and head along the beach collecting and bagging as much litter as we can carry. We will then drop off our bags of litter at the bins, and either head home, or for a cheeky pint to reward a job well done! Plan is to get from the Cullercoats end of Tynemouth Beach all the way to the Gibraltar Rock pub, where we can grab some food/drink.
