I am reactivating this bayou to do portions that were missed or are new. A WORD OF CAUTION ON THESE URBAN BAYOU HIKES: WILD ANIMALS MAY BE LESS OF A RISK BUT HUMAN ANIMALS ARE NOT, ESPECIALLY THE ONES THAT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF VALUABLES LEFT OUT ON THE OPEN IN YOUR CARS OR WHO SEE YOU PUTTING THEM IN YOUR TRUNK. SO PLEASE DON'T BRING VALUABLES AND IF YOU DO, TAKE THEM WITH YOU ON THE HIKE.

The Hike: From the parking lot follow the paved trail west but just before the bridge go north and do a counter-clockwise loop around the northern pond. Upon returning to Brays Bayou stay on this side (northern) and follow the paved trail to just past Westheimer Pl Dr where the trail becomes grass and you can naturally go to the other, southern, side to return. Just past Green Crest Rd the grass trail detours on a side gully. After going under Westpark Tollway, you'll see a bridge on your left to a paved trail that you can take back and over Brays Bayou where you'll be on the original paved trail you took. Follow the red hashes and arrows out first and then followed the blue fro the return.
Gathering Place: Park at the parking lot for Bishop Fiorenza Phase II, near the corner of Westpark Dr and Eldridge Pkwy S. If the lot is full fro some reason then park on the street. Hikers should be obvious in the lot somewhere.
