Sunday Semi-Urban Hike: Terry Hershey Park (8-10 mi)

Let's meet this Sunday for another classic hike at highly popular Terry Hershey Park.

Gathering point: we will be meeting in the heart of Energy Corridor at Dairy Ashford/Buffalo Bayou parking lot (1001 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX 77077). This location normally has more parking spots available.
Leaving 9:05AM sharp.

Difficulty: medium, be ready for the summer heat.
What to bring: regular hiking gear, plenty of water, snacks and sunscreen.

Trail conditions: mostly gravel trails, ~50% shaded.

Please use caution. The heat index is now regularly above 90 degrees F before noon. Consider you heat tolerance and bring extra water. If you do get overheated or don't feel well, tell someone right away. We can help.
Overheating can happen to anyone, stop walking if you don't feel well so it doesn't become something serious.
