Guadalupe River State Park Bauer Unit Hike ~8.0 Miles

Bauer unit is a less crowded area on the north side of Guadalupe River State Park. This trail is rocky and mostly shaded with a chance for a water crossing.

Gathering Place: The hike will start at the parking lot. Note this is the Bauer Unit and not the main park. Bauer Unit is a 23 minute drive northwest of the main park entrance. You do need a day pass. This park is popular for picnicking and swimming. Permits may sell out.

The Hike: We will hike clockwise through all trails in the Bauer Unit.

After the hike we can swim, fish, tube and mountain bike.
