Halls Bayou-Greens Bayou Confluence Hike 8.0 miles

Details
We are not expecting any alligators, but if Beeple and Kehinde Wiley collaborated on one it might look something like this.
The Hike:
The route mostly follows Halls Bayou past the confluence with Greens Bayou. The hike pass through some exceptionally beautiful wetlands, There is a break at a very nice small park surrounding a pond, On the return we can take a tour of the former traditional golf course redeveloped to support disk and foot golf and many other activities.
For the more adventurous, there is a future hike to the north that needs to be scouted.
About HATs and our hikes:
https://www.hatsandmore.org/
HATs organizers are not guides nor do we have any special training. We are here to come up with hiking ideas and get the hike started. Expect the same risks and take the same precautions you would if hiking alone, including the fitness level to make long hikes. Then enjoy the hike among friends.
HEAT PRECAUTIONS:
The heat index is now approaching 100° F before noon. Consider your heat tolerance. Start the day well hydrated and bring at least a third more water than you carry in cooler weather.
If you don't feel well or can't keep up, tell someone right away and stop walking so it doesn't become something serious. Call the hike leader. We can help get you off the trail. Tom: 832-439-5797
