Join us to explore Mount Storm King is a strenuous 4.4-mile out-and-back trail in Olympic National Park on the Olympic Peninsula. It features a steep 2,142-foot elevation gain, ending in an unmaintained scramble with rope sections to access sweeping summit views of Lake Crescent and the surrounding peaks.
The hike: Difficult/Strenuous. The first two miles climb steeply through montane forest to the "End of Maintained Trail" sign. The final 0.25 miles requires navigating a steep, rocky ridge using a series of fixed ropes
Elevation Gain: 2,142 feet.
Meeting Place: Look for the group in The parking lot.
