Guadalupe River Float

Details

There is a really pretty, but also short, float on the Guadalupe River above Canyon Lake. It's about a 1-hour drive from Austin. I've done this a couple of times, and it's a hidden gem. I called the company that offers access, and they said they're back in business after the flooding so I am really eager to check it out.
The take-out will be at Guadalupe Canoe Livery in Spring Branch TX. They offer parking and take-out for $5/person. They also rent kayaks for people who don't have one.
There are a few spots on this trip that are low and rocky, so if you're worried about scratching up a nice kayak, you might want to rent one of theirs ($40) for this trip.
Right now the flow is really good. We *may* have to pick a different spot if the flow dries up between now and the 23rd like it did last August. But for now let's cross our fingers!
