I can't wait to do this! So many of us love Family Feud! And I have always wanted to be a Game Show Host! So now, I am putting on the New Friends Feud! That's right! You are going to participate in a competitive game of guessing what the TOP ANSWERS are for the 100 people surveyed.

So in light of our current environment, real people interaction has been limited. However, our human need for social interaction hasn't changed. In fact it could have heightened.

And although we welcome this down time, this self-quarantine time, to catch up on our cleaning, our organizing, our DVR'd shows, reading and sleeping to keep our society safe; after a while, we get stir crazy.

So I have paid for a Zoom subscription and I bought the Family Feud game so that we can hold the virtual New Friends Feud.

This is how it is going to work.

  1. We will take the first 10 people that come into the Group and make them into 2 teams. (You will know who you team up with and order you based on the order you join in the online event )
  2. We would then do it just like the game show. The 1st person from each team go head to head, who ever has the top answer, their team gets to decide to play or pass. Whoever wins that round, gets the point.
  3. The first team to get to 300 points Wins!
  4. As more people join us, they get to watch this happen. After we finish the 1st game, dependent on how many people are in the room, the winning team will play the new 5 that joined us. Or if we have at least 8 more people that joined, then there would be those 2 teams that battle it out, and so on.
  5. I do reserve the right to change up the play based on how many people join us.

I think this will be so much fun! I can't wait to be your Game Show Host!

REGARDING ZOOM....
In my opinion, Zoom is better on a computer (laptop of desktop), but it works just as well on a phone or tablet (you just will get interrupted if a call/text/email comes in, so please put those on silent). With a phone or tablet, you will need to download the Zoom app, with a computer, you do not need the App, you just need to click on the link.

By the way, Zoom gives me the opportunity to mute people so that no one accidentally shouts out the answers as we play the game and it has a lot of other functionality too. So it will FUN.
