We will be trying a new app for this game event. Please download Kahoot app on to a different device (mobile/tablet) from what you are using to do Zoom. If you have a dual screen set up on your computer, then you can use the same device (You would then log onto Kahoot.it)

This is how it will work.

  1. We will be playing separate trivia games.

  2. Each person will be playing for themselves (no team). The question will come onto the Zoom screen with 4 answers to pick from. Your device that has Kahoot on it will be your answering device. So you will select the right answer via Kahoot. Once time is up (usually 30 seconds), the answer will pop up on Zoom with who got it right/wrong and the scores will add up.

  3. The winner of the game will have bragging rights.

This will be so much fun!

REGARDING ZOOM....
In my opinion, Zoom is better on a computer (laptop of desktop), but it works just as well on a phone or tablet (you just will get interrupted if a call/text/email comes in, so please put those on silent). With a phone or tablet, you will need to download the Zoom app, with a computer, you do not need the App, you just need to click on the link.

By the way, Zoom gives me the opportunity to mute people so that no one accidentally shouts out the answers as we play the game and it has a lot of other functionality too. So it will FUN.
