We are bringing back Blank Slate!

We played this game in a group setting and virtually and it turned out to be fun. The game is easy to play and moves fast. So we can get a few rounds in.

THIS IS HOW IT IS GOING TO WORK:

  1. There are no teams. Each person is playing to win. Any late arrivals can watch and will go into the next round. The game moves fast.
  2. Each person should either have a pile of post-it notes or scrap paper or a small whiteboard to write their answers on (about 20-40 should be more than enough) and a SHARPIE or a MARKER.
  3. How to play: I present a card such as ______ House. Each person writes on their paper to fill in the blank. Such as White, Full, Brick, Open, Animal, Dog, Haunted, etc.....There are so many words to choose from, but you only need to pick 1 to write down.
  4. Points: If your word matches with ONLY 1 other person, then you and them get 3 points, if your word matches with more than 1 person, then you and them get 1 point. If your word matches with no one, then you get 0 points. The first to get to 25 points wins. So technically, if you play a perfect game, you can win in 9 rounds.
  5. As more people join us, they get to watch this game AND they will play in the next game. Again, this game moves fast and is fun and it gets competitive.

REGARDING ZOOM....
I paid to have the Zoom Subscription so we can all play without interruptions. In my opinion, Zoom is better on a computer (laptop or desktop), but it works just as well on a phone or tablet (you just will get interrupted if a call/text/email comes in, so please put those on silent) AND you can't see everyone in 1 go. With a phone or tablet, you will need to download the Zoom app, with a computer, you do not need the App, you just need to click on the link.
