This is one of my favorite Chinese food spots on the island. It’s definitely a dive bar, but the food is really good and it’s perfect for family-style sharing. We could get a couple of different stir-fried vegetable dishes—the mushrooms are excellent too. The pork chops are one of my favorites, and the fried rice is also really good. It’s Chinese food with a lot of local Hawaiʻi influence. They also have really inexpensive lunch specials, around $12–$13 a plate. I’d suggest we either order everything family-style so we can get a bunch of dishes and try a little bit of everything, or everyone can order their own plate lunch and we can get a few extra dishes to share. Whatever the group decides is fine with me. It’s a really great value, especially for the amount of food you get, and you can get great local Chinese food without having to go into Chinatown.
