99 Ranch Market Meetup!

Hello Everyone,

These past few months have been an unusual and game-changing time in our lives! I hope everyone is keeping well and still practicing caution in social distancing during the slow reopening of our state.

I have decided to practice caution and not have the meetup this month and until further notice, until we can get a better grasp of how reopening will affect the spread of the virus.

I have also been contemplating about setting up virtual meetups in Zoom in the meantime, setting up a camera to be trained on my hands as I fold, but as I have absolutely no experience/training in this or even in the basics of group meetings, progress is very slow going and I cannot make any promises as to when this would be set up. I am learning at my own pace through online tutorials and guidance from others, so someday we will meet, chat, and fold again in the comfort of our own homes! :)

Aloha Everyone,

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! Due to the concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus, the March 29th Sunday meetup is canceled. I also didn’t schedule the April 26th meetup yet as this is a fluid, ongoing situation, so if you are interested in attending, stay tuned and check back in on our Meetup page once in a while for any further updates.

For our May meetup, we will be folding Spring themed origami, a container or box of some sort, and perhaps one other “surprise” origami. We will be occupying the tables in the area between Watanabe Bakery and Urawa. As usual, I will be bringing all books, papers, tools, and other supplies as needed to create our projects!
