New to pickleball? This free monthly intro class is designed for complete beginners who want to learn the game in a fun, simple, and welcoming environment.
In this small-group session, limited to 6 players, you’ll learn the basics of pickleball, including how to hold the paddle, serve, return, keep score, understand the kitchen, and play your first simple points. No pressure, no experience needed — just come ready to learn and have fun.
This class is perfect for anyone who has been curious about pickleball but does not know where to start. Because space is limited, please only reserve a spot if you are able to attend.
After the intro class, players will have the option to continue with beginner group clinics, coached play, or private/semi-private lessons.2 attendees

Looking for a fun way for your child to try pickleball? This free monthly kids class is designed for beginners who want to learn the game in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment.
In this small-group session, kids will learn the basics of pickleball through simple drills, games, and fun activities. We’ll cover how to hold the paddle, hit the ball, serve, move safely on the court, and understand the basic rules of the game.
No experience is needed. The goal is to help kids build confidence, learn something new, and have fun being active.
Class size: Limited spots available so every child gets attention.
Location: The specific location will be sent after registration. It is approximately 3 minutes from the YMCA courts.
After the intro class, families will have the option to continue with kids group clinics, private/semi-private lessons, or future beginner programs.1 attendee

Washington Middle School, 1633 South King Street, Honolulu, HI, USJoin Hawaii Pickleball Academy for our Player Development Series — a focused 5-week training program designed to help players improve faster through structured, small-group coaching.
Players are assessed and placed into the right level to ensure balanced groups, quality reps, and personalized feedback. Each session is 1.5 hours and focuses on fundamentals, consistency, strategy, and match-style play.Program Details:

Level 1: Foundations
Level 2: Consistency & Strategy
Level 3: Advanced Play & ConfidenceAll registered players attend a 60-minute on-court assessment for level placement. If you are not placed into a group, your tuition is refunded minus the $30 assessment fee.

Keiki Pickleball Training Series

Looking for something more structured than a one-time class? The Keiki Pickleball Training Series is a 6-week Saturday program designed to help young players learn pickleball the right way.This program focuses on building strong fundamentals, better coordination, confidence, and real court skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Kids will learn through age-appropriate drills, games, and coaching. Small groups allow each child to receive real attention and instruction, with a maximum of 8 players per instructor.Who This Program Is For
This series is for kids ages 7–12 who are beginners or newer players and want to improve their pickleball skills in a more structured setting.
Kids are grouped by age when possible:
Ages 7–9
This group focuses on basic motor skills, hand-eye coordination, paddle control, movement, simple rallies, and fun games that help younger players feel comfortable on the court.
Ages 10–12
This group focuses on serving, rallying, scoring, court positioning, strategy, teamwork, and beginner competitive play.
