What we’re about
Calling all Happy Ladies 50(ish) and over to have some fun. Just because we are getting more mature doesn't mean we should give up on ‘fun’. If your idea of ‘fun’ is a cheeky glass of something out and a natter; a visit to a theatre; taking in a walk with watering holes; having a boogie; playing some non-competitive board games/cards or having an afternoon tea out (or anything else we fancy) you will find it here!!
As we want to make this an active Group, you are welcome to join our events for four weeks after which we would ask you to pay £3.50 (total) for a 6 month membership which is purely to cover Meetup's fee to us for providing the site as all events are organised voluntarily.
I really hope you will join us as an active member and look forward to meeting you soon.

See all- Join us at Brighton Little Theatre to see ‘The Crucible’.Brighton Little Theatre, Brighton, BN1 2EG
If you haven’t been to Brighton’s Little Theatre it is a tiny but thriving, not-for-profit theatre company who stage at least 10 plays a year in their very own little theatre.
The Crucible is a play written by Arthur Miller in the early 1950s, and is set in Salem, Massachusetts, during the infamous 1692 Salem Witch Trials. This era was marked by paranoia, hysteria, and deceit, which tightly gripped the Puritan communities of New England. Miller's narrative not only meticulously captures the historical backdrop of the witch trials but also serves as a potent commentary on the perils of mass hysteria and the dire consequences of unquestioning conformity.
The themes explored in The Crucible resonate strongly today, offering a cautionary tale about the fragility of justice and how easily fear can be exploited for political or personal gains. This riveting and powerful play is now regarded as a modern classic, demonstrating the timeless relevance of its message.
Tickets are £12 (I have booked Seat E7) and should be booked ASAP direct with the Theatre on:-
