May the 4th Be with You: Let's Take a Sunday p.m. Stroll through Waynesville

Let's go for a 2 hour walk through downtown, to the Waynesville Recreation Park, and back by a different route.

Meet at the entrance to Mast General Store at 2:00 p.m. Walk through the vibrant downtown area. Pass by the Riley Howell Memorial Playground, past the Skate Park, and down a portion of the Greenway. Pass through a bit of neighborhood and past Angelo's. End with just a touch more of downtown.

This 5 KM/3 mile walk is mostly on pavement with some significant hills. Tennis shoes are fine. Some may want walking sticks for the hills. Dress for the weather. As always, bring water and a protein snack. Dogs are welcome.
