Parents Day: 5 KM/3 mile Walk in Canton on July 27

Some may want to bring their parents to walk on Parents Day. Others may want to walk in honor of their parents. Whatever works for you, come and join us for this walk in Canton.

We will start at the Main Street Parking Lot, go through part of downtown, journey up Academy Street to the historic cemetery and the public library, down to Pisgah High School, and to the Rec Park. After walking on the greenway, we will walk through a different part of downtown. The up and down are fairly steep.

Dress appropriately for the weather; consider a hat and sunscreen. Tennis shoes are fine. This is all pavement, but some might want walking sticks for the up and down. Wheelchairs might have a little difficulty, but trail strollers should be ok. Bring water and a protein snack. Dogs on leash are welcome.
