Ice Cream Sandwich Day: Walk the Cool Creekside Trails at the NC Arboretum

Details
Meet at the Baker Visitor Center at 9:30 a.m. We will make our way down to Bent Creak Road and then explore the Creekside Trails. We will take a different route back up to the Baker Center parking lot, where our group will have an opportunity to enjoy complimentary ice cream sandwiches for National Ice Cream Sandwich Day.
Dress for the weather; consider a hat and sunscreen. Some may want walking poles. Sneakers should be fine. Be sure to bring water and a protein snack.
Dogs on leash are welcome, but are not allowed in buildings or the Bonsai Exhibit. Trails strollers should be ok.
The NC Arboretum does not have an admission fee, but they charge $20 per car parking fee (so pack as many people in your car as you can). We recommend annual membership which includes free parking.
