Mea Culpa! I put the wrong date! Morganton Walk with BBQ Lunch is December 6!

I am so sorry. My apologies to Luke who tried to do this meetup on Friday. The actual date is December 6.

Walk Morganton City with a choice of 5 KM/3.1 mile and 10 KM/6.2 mile guided walks. The walks include colorfully decorated neighborhoods and the downtown/courthouse area. It also includes a quaint park.

We will be walking with the Asheville Amblers, AARP, Stryder, and perhaps more. The walk is free, but the Amblers accept donations ($4 suggested).

Register at Boulevard BBQ at 9:30 a.m. with step-off at 10:00. Dutch treat lunch at Boulevard BBQ will follow (we have a room reserved).

These walks include some moderate hills and stair climbing, but is almost entirely on pavement. It is suitable for strollers, but not for wheelchairs. Sorry, only service dogs this time.

Dress for the weather. Bring water and a protein snack. Some might want walking sticks due to the hills. Tennis shoes will be fine.
