To get to Kingfisher Trail from our start point, we will go counterclockwise on the Bobcat Trail, and then turn right onto Kingfisher. We will rejoin Bobcat Trail to finish our loop. All together, it's about 2 miles. Part of the walk is on pavement and part on not-so-well groomed trail. There is some elevation change.

As you enter the campus from Jones Cove Road, go to the first parking lot on the left. We will gather there and then head out.

Be sure to dress for the weather. Consider sunscreen and a hat. I'm going to wear tennis shoes, unless it has rained a lot recently (in which case, I will wear light hiking boots). I plan to bring my walking sticks. As always, you are urged to bring plenty of water and a protein snack. Dogs are welcome. Trail strollers should not have much problem. There are no bathrooms available that afternoon, so take care of such needs before you arrive.

It being National Dark Chocolate Day, I'll bring some for us to enjoy at the end of the walk!
