Walk the Middle 5 KM of Maggie Valley

Meet at Parham Memorial Park, 1861 State Rd 1307 (Moody Farm Rd), Maggie Valley 28751. This is the park at the western intersection of Moody Farm Rd with Soco Rd. We will meet at 2:00 p.m. Be forewarned: the restrooms at the park are closed for renovation; plan accordingly.

The walk is pretty flat. Tennis shoes are fine; walking poles aren't needed. Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring lots of water and a protein snack. Dogs are welcome. Strollers are fine.

We will walk west on Soco Road for a mile and a half. We will cross Soco Road at Town Hall. We will walk east on the opposite side of Soco Road, finally returning to the Start Point.

Sights along the way include Inspiration Park, Wheels through Time Motorcycle Museum, Maggie Valley Festival Grounds, and Elevated Creek Park.

This is a short, easy walk, mostly on pavement. Hope to see you there!
