Mother's Day Walk in Waynesville from Mast General to Middle School & Back

Bring your mother, or anyone else, or come alone. Let's do a Mother's Day walk in Waynesville.

Meet at 2:00 in front of Mast General Store, 63 N. Main St., Waynesville NC 28786. We will meet at the rocking chairs in front of the door to the shoe department.

The walk goes past public art, to Frog Level for a brief stop at Panacea Coffee Company, to Waynesville Middle School, through an interesting neighborhood, and back to the start point.

There are some hills, so some may want a walking pole; sneakers should be fine. Dogs are welcome. Strollers should be ok. Bring plenty of water and a protein snack. Dress appropriately for the weather. Consider a hat and sunscreen.

Parking is easier a block to either side of Main Street. Mast General Store doesn't have a public restroom, but we can direct you to one nearby should you need it. There are one or two restrooms along the route.
