Greetings Hotel Brotherhood (HB) -USA Philadelphia Specialty Urban Gardeners and Supporters!

We and our guests will have an opportunity to spend a little time together, get to be on the grounds of a cultural and natural resource treasure, get to volunteer, and get to learn all in one day, and in one place. On Nov. 13, 2021, historic Bartram's Garden is offering an interesting learning gardening workshop event on Compost Tea and Biochar (for a small fee). In addition, on this day for their Sankofa Community Farm, there is a scheduled Service Volunteer Day. How better to reconnect than to support Bartram's Garden by attending the Compost Tea and Biochar workshop, and if the workshop is full by the time you decide to participate, you can still do some good by participating and helping out at the service day. This is how I see the day going. We arrive on time at 9 am in the front parking lot area. I'll be waiting for you to welcome you and 'meet and greet.' At 9:20 am we enter for our day's activity; either the workshop or farm service day both scheduled to start at 9:30 am sharp. When it's over we can share our experiences of the day again n the front parking area, and/or choose a place nearby the airport to continue and get in out of the cold. You can find out more information on both events at https://www.bartramsgarden.org. Registration is required for both. I'm sure the slots for the workshop will fill up fast so don't hesitate to register when you get this notice. I am predicting a good time can be had by all as we learn and do some service.
Warm regards, CW
