Beat the Heat at Stake Lake

Hike Description: It is going to be a hot week! Let's get up where it is cooler. Meet us at Stake Lake, Overlander Ski Club, for a walk on the ski trails up to the Lookout where we will be rewarded with a fabulous view of Lac Le Jeune and area. Once back there is the opportunity for a dip in the lake to cool off. Walk is not difficult with some incline to reach the Lookout.
Where to go: From Kamloops to the Lac Le Jeune Rd. approximately 30km. Look for our Red Toyota Tacoma in the parking lot.
Watch for the x-country ski sign and Overlander Ski Club.
Things to Know: Dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable socks and hiking shoes/boots or shoes with good grip. Bring water and a snack.
