Canada Day Starter Softball – Learn to Play!

Have you always wanted to learn softball but didn't know where to start? Do you want to connect with others in a low pressure, non awkward setting? If so, then you've definitely come to the right place, because that's exactly what we are offering on Canada Day!

We are hosting our Starter Series at Brant Hills Park in Burlington, which will involve learning the rules of the game, and the different aspects of playing including hitting, fielding, catching and throwing. We will be using softcore balls (softer than softballs) and tees to make the introduction to the game easier. Depending on everyone's comfort level, we can see about playing with real balls and have a game of 3-pitch softball, which is very casual and fun!

The best part is actually getting out of the house and doing something, outside, and with other people. How often does that happen anymore? There is a charge of $20 per participant, and this helps us cover the diamond rental, and we will also be providing hot dogs and drinks! Any additional profits will be donated to animal rescue and mental health charities (more about that on our website).
