About us

Healing After Emotionally Manipulative Relationships is a peer support group for people recovering from toxic, emotionally manipulative, psychologically harmful, or destabilizing relationship experiences.

Many people leave these relationships feeling confused, isolated, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. This group exists to provide a safe, respectful, and confidential environment where people can talk openly, share experiences, process emotions, and support one another in healing and rebuilding.

This is not group therapy or professional counseling. It is a community-based peer support group focused on connection, understanding, personal growth, and recovery.

Topics may include:

  • Emotional manipulation and control
  • Gaslighting and confusion
  • Trauma bonding and attachment
  • Rebuilding self-esteem and identity
  • Boundaries and healthy relationships
  • Anxiety, grief, and emotional recovery
  • Dating and trusting again
  • Personal growth after difficult relationships

Meetings are intended to be welcoming, respectful, confidential, and judgment-free. People from all backgrounds and relationship experiences are welcome.

You do not need to be fully healed to attend. You just do not have to go through it alone.
