Before you speak… your body already knows.
But many of us have learned to override that signal.

There’s a moment that happens before we speak.
A sensation.
A tightening.
A feeling.
An impulse.

And for many of us…
that moment gets overridden.

We talk over it.
We ignore it.
We stay silent.

Or we react before we’ve fully felt what’s there.
So over time, expressing ourselves can feel confusing… or hard to access.

In this experiential session, we’ll slow things down and explore a different approach:

  • How to reconnect with the body’s natural signals
  • How expression begins as sensation—not just words
  • How breath can create space between feeling and reaction
  • How to begin making choices around when and how to express

This is not about forcing yourself to speak.
It’s about learning how to listen…
and allowing your voice to emerge from a more grounded, connected place.

You may notice that for you, this looks like:

  • pausing instead of reacting
  • staying with a feeling a little longer
  • allowing a small expression to come through
  • or simply becoming more aware of what’s happening inside

All of it is welcome.

This session will include:

  • Gentle body awareness
  • Guided somatic exploration
  • Space for reflection
  • Simple, practical ways to begin reconnecting with your voice

No experience is needed.
No sharing is required.
You’re always invited to go at your own pace.

If you’ve ever felt like:
“I don’t know what I feel until later”
“I struggle to speak up in the moment”
“I say things too quickly and wish I had paused”
You’re not alone—and this is a place to begin exploring that safely.

This session is part of a monthly series on Reclaiming Your Voice.
For those who want to go deeper, this work continues in the workshop:
Safe to Speak: A Somatic Practice of Speaking Your Truth

This session is presented as a live stream, offering a gentle, low-demand way to explore somatic healing.
