A live somatic practice of being seen, being heard, and speaking your truth.

If you'd like to join this workshop - you can register through Eventbrite here. RSVPing on Meetup will not get you the link. This is a donation-based, Eventbrite event.

Many of us learned early that staying connected meant staying quiet.
We softened our opinions.
We swallowed our needs.
We edited our truth before it ever reached our lips.

Not because something was wrong with us , but because our nervous system was protecting connection.

This workshop is a gentle space to explore what it feels like to speak again… from the body, at your own pace.

Together, we will practice being seen, being heard, and speaking simple truths while staying anchored in safety.

This is not about saying the perfect thing.
It’s about learning how your body responds when your voice is allowed to exist.

We'll Explore:
• How trauma and attachment shape voice, silence, and self-expression
• Tracking body sensations before, during, and after speaking
• Co-regulation practices that support safe visibility (breath, sighing, humming)
• Practicing small truths — preferences, needs, and meaningful expressions — with choice and pacing
• How to listen and witness without fixing or pressure
• What your nervous system learns when you speak and remain connected

You’ll be invited into simple, gradual voice practices — from one word, to short sentences, to optional deeper expression — always with choice.

You may share out loud, type in chat, write privately, or simply notice internally.
Every level of participation is welcome.

This workshop is for you if:
• You freeze, fawn, or overthink when it’s time to speak
• You struggle to name needs, boundaries, or preferences
• You worry about being “too much” or misunderstood
• You feel a gap between what you feel and what you say
• You want to build safety around visibility rather than force confidence

What makes this different
This is not a communication skills class.
It is a somatic practice of voice — learning how expression and nervous system safety can exist together.
We move slowly.
We honor choice.
We practice repair and return after speaking.
Because real change happens when the body experiences:
“I can speak… and I’m still safe.”
