You set the boundary… so why does your body feel worse instead of better?

If you'd like to join this workshop - you can register through Eventbrite here. RSVPing on Meetup does not provide access to the event link. This is a donation-based, Eventbrite event. Your support is greatly appreciated. 🤍

Is it supposed to feel this way?
Did I do it wrong?

Maybe your mind keeps replaying the conversation.
Maybe you’ve been crying since it happened.
Maybe there’s a lingering feeling that you hurt the other person…

Like you were being mean.
Or selfish.
Or asking for too much.
Or maybe it’s not even your thoughts—it’s your body.

A sense of guilt that won’t quite settle.
A tightness.
An activation.

A feeling you can’t fully explain… but you know it’s there.
When you first begin setting boundaries, these responses are normal.

Especially if you grew up fawning, people-pleasing, or being overly agreeable.
Choosing yourself is new.
And your body is still learning what that means.

This somatic healing session is where we slow down…
and learn how to take care of ourselves after the boundary has been set.
After you chose yourself—
maybe for the first time.

We'll Explore:

  • Why your body can feel unsettled, activated, or emotional after setting a boundary
  • The patterns of guilt, doubt, and second-guessing that can follow
  • What your system actually needs in those moments

You'll Be Invited To:

  • Notice what’s present in your body without needing to fix it
  • Stay with those sensations in a safe and supported way
  • Gently regulate your nervous system
  • Begin building a new pattern of self-support and internal safety

This is a somatic (body-based) workshop, meaning we’ll be working with your body—not just talking about the experience.

There’s no pressure to share.
You’re always in choice.
Everything is an invitation.

You May Leave Feeling:

  • More settled in your body
  • Less overwhelmed by guilt or self-doubt
  • More supported in the moments after you choose yourself
  • A deeper sense that you can stay with yourself through it

You didn’t do it wrong.
You did something new.
Now… we support your body in learning that it’s safe to stay there.
