Do you find yourself locating exists in a restaurant, scanning the room for potential threats, or rereading text messages searching for hidden meaning?

Or maybe you over-analyze conversations, think everyone is mad at you, or you get startled easily?

These are all common behaviors of hypervigilance. For many of us, hypervigilance began as a survival response from childhood trauma or anxiety.

The body learned to stay alert in order to feel safe.

In this somatic healing experience, we’ll gently explore what hypervigilance feels like in the body, start to bring awareness where hypervigilance shows up in everyday life, and allow it to soften.
