Seminar Synopsis:
This Meetup will be unique opportunity to get involved in a seminar looking at concepts of Islamic Psychology and it's relevance within TA.
Question: 'What is Islamic Psychology?'
During this creative and unique seminar we will look at the Islamic theory of personality based on Islamic concepts of the heart (Qalb), self (Nafs) and soul (Ruh) and it's relevance to TA and mainstream psychotherapy when working with Muslim clients.
This seminar is for anyone interested Islamic Psychology, spirituality, mental health or self-development. Ideal for practitioners and non practitioners wanting to learn more about different concepts of spirituality, share ideas and collaborate in a creative environment.
For practitioners attending this seminar it will give resourceful tools to help ‘open channels of communication’ when working with Muslim clients.
Emphasis will be on the relationship between the intrapsychic process, recent changing world events and global connectivity.
Aim of Seminar: Promote inter-group Okness through awareness, discourse and dialogue.
